David Lisak On False Rape Allegations

February 5, 2013: Mangina academic David Lisak bloviates on false rape allegations.

This clip is part of a full length video uploaded to YouTube by the Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault on said date.

Many people have debunked Lisak’s guff about trauma, but in the first instance check out The Fraud Of Tonic Immobility, the live hangout from November 16, 2018.

The overwhelming majority of genuine rape victims don’t need to be interrogated because they have bruises, at times quite serious injuries, and/or other corroborating evidence. The woman who turns up at a police station with a rape counsellor on her arm claiming to have been raped three weeks ago should rightly be treated with disdain.

Listen in particular to his claim at the very end, not only are false allegations so extremely rare, but usually they fall apart very quickly.

Here are a few that didn’t:

Alison Welfare framed Christopher Wheeler, who spent two months on remand until the police found the unexpected exculpatory evidence.
Cathleen Crowell – this didn’t fall apart; Gary Dotson was released only after Crowell married a bloke named Webb and got religion. Dotson served six years.
Biurny Peguero – her victim William McCaffrey would have served a full twenty year sentence had she not married and got religion as well.
Rhiannon Brooker framed Paul Fensome; he spent 36 days behind bars and was cleared only when the police found exculpatory evidence while looking for further evidence to bolster an apparently overwhelming case.
Roy Burnett served fourteen years of a life sentence, and would have completed it had his false accuser not reprised her handiwork, boasted about it to an associate, and the legal authorities acted with uncharacteristic integrity.
Wayman Camille served 12 years of a 15 year sentence, shortened only by the deathbed confession of Alice Mock (on the Timeline at May 17, 1975).
Wilfred Kirkaldy had a rape charge hanging over him for ten months until a private investigator came good (on the Timeline at September 22, 1990).

Need I go on?
