The Michael Jackson Allegations (1993-2019)

Michael Jackson (1958-2009) was one of the biggest entertainers of the Twentieth Century, and also one of the weirdest. The allegations against him hardly need any documenting here, suffice it to say Jackson was largely the author of his own misfortune by his utter gullibility.

In 1993, he was accused of sexually abusing the underage boy Jordan Chandler. This resulted in a criminal investigation which Jackson stayed with a settlement in excess of twenty million dollars. (Five months after Jackson’s premature death, Jordan Chandler’s father Evan committed suicide, which was seen by some as the result of a guilty conscience).

After this, Jackson must surely have been counselled by his lawyers, family and everyone close to him to tone down his relationships with underage boys. He didn’t, and the result was his 2005 trial at Santa Barbara. He faced a total of fourteen charges, and was found not guilty on all counts. His defense witnesses included child stars Macaulay Culkin and Wade Robson. Jackson and his lawyers would have to have been insane to put either of these kids on the stand had there been a nanogramme of truth in any of the claims by others he had sexually abused them.

Jackson’s true friends continued to defend him after his death. So did Wade Robson, but in 2013, he did a stunning about-face and claimed to have been sexually abused by Jackson from the very beginning. Although he had an obvious financial motive, there was probably more to it than that, ie Robson was most likely mixed up, something that is far from unusual in his circles.

In 2019, a four hour smear job on Jackson called Leaving Neverland premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Wade Robson was a star of this film.

The Michael Jackson Estate produced this rebuttal in advance of its release. (Here is an alternative link).

Here is a short but interesting video clip I found on YouTube. Listen especially to what the lawyer says about how easy it is for attention seekers and scumbags to make false allegations against celebrities.

Space does not permit a detailed rebuttal of all the false allegations made against Jackson over the years, but many people, fans and non-fans, have done excellent work in this department.

Obviously some people will continue to claim Jackson was a serial paedophile or at the very least that he was not totally innocent, but there can be no doubt whatsoever that he was the victim of outrageous lies in his lifetime, and will continue to be in death.
