Jodie Simpson — yet another serial false accuser

January 1 & January 18, 2010: Jodie Simpson makes multiple false rape allegations against a number of people. First she claims to have been kidnapped by Shaun Longdon and driven to an address where five people – one of them a woman – sexually assaulted her in three orifices. On January 18, she phones the police and tells them she has been kidnapped by Shaun Longdon again. He is arrested at 2am the following day.

On November 29, 2012, Simpson is given a 21 month sentence at Bradford Crown Court; she had not seen Longdon for years. Even though the police became a little suspicious, they still went on with the investigation. What was that about victims not being believed?

The Jodie Simpson case was entered originally as December 2009 and November 29, 2012. According to the local press report, she made false allegations in December 2009 against a number of people but not including Mr Longdon. As these are not reported in the judgment, I feel it is likely the reporter got her facts wrong. Whatever, this entry has now been corrected/amended and the judgment of her failed appeal added, which gives the full background to the claims made by this HEAD CASE. (The judgment starts at page 2, and the two cases cited within are linked directly to the relevant pages in this database.).
