December 2015: The publication of the thesis She Just Wanted To Get With An Athlete... by Clemson University illustrates the full extent of feminist brainwashing and facile scholarship on the American campus.
On page iii, author Katie Barnes writes “This thesis is dedicated to all victims of sexual assault. My hope is that one day, the default benefit of the doubt won’t be automatically given to the offender, but to the victim.”
Shouldn’t that be the alleged offender and the alleged victim? Correct me if I’m wrong, but she seems to be implying that if the jury has a reasonable doubt in a criminal trial, it should convict rather than acquit, at least as far as rape and sexual assault cases are concerned. Thankfully this airhead graduated in Communications rather than Law.
On page 11, she glosses over the Duke lacrosse scandal mentioning that the charges were dropped, but no mention is made of the fact that the accuser lied through her teeth, nor of the outrageous campaign against the accused by so many students and faculty members. Instead, she makes this into an issue of violence against women; in view of the fact that Crystal Mangum went on to murder her lover, shouldn’t this be violence against men?
This thesis is full of buzzwords and phrases – entitlement, rape culture, etc. Totally unreal.
